THE CYBER DON TAPES

The Cyber Don Tapes is a physical, artist-signed 10-track album from Rebel G Society, presented in the nostalgic style of underground bootleg CDs, rare mixtapes, and hand-made independent releases.

Every physical copy is individually signed and features original hand-drawn elements directly on the disc by Daryl Boothe aka Rebel G Society. Sketches, symbols, markings, and artistic variations make each disc different, turning every copy into its own collectible piece of Rebel G Society art.

Musically, The Cyber Don Tapes is a high-energy collision of 1980s Miami nightlife, Jamaican dancehall, electronic music, synth-funk, retro pop, and futuristic Caribbean rhythm. The album transforms late-night city lights, tropical heat, romance, ambition, street culture, and digital futurism into a cinematic electronic experience.

Pulsating analog synths, funky basslines, gated drums, shimmering arpeggios, melodic saxophone, hypnotic rhythms, and powerful modern low end create a sound that exists somewhere between the past and an imagined future.

Across 10 tracks, the project moves between seductive melodies, energetic dancefloor records, Jamaican Patwa vocals, atmospheric synth passages, and rebellious electronic grooves.

It feels like discovering a lost 1980s Miami bootleg from an alternate future.

Vintage aesthetics collide with modern independent production, creating a world that is tropical, nostalgic, futuristic, and intentionally difficult to place in a single genre.

The physical edition pushes that concept even further. Each CD is signed and individually hand-finished, giving the project the feeling of a rare tape or bootleg discovered decades later — except every copy comes directly from the artist.
