Vocal Apostle

Vocal Apostle replaces a long chain of separate plugins with one instrument built for modern rap, R&B, trap, dancehall, Afrobeats, alternative and electronic vocals. Tune it, transform it, stack it, mangle it and polish it inside a single, fast, dark interface. Work in Simple mode (pick a style, sing) or open Advanced for every parameter. Either way, Auto Level sets your raw vocal up perfectly before anything else touches it.

Click Simple in the header and the whole plugin becomes one page: choose a vocal style, set your song’s key, then shape the sound with eight big knobs. Switch to Advanced any time: both layouts drive the same engine, so the sound never changes, and every session remembers the layout you used.

Each style sets the whole chain at once: tuning, EQ, compression, de-essing, saturation, doubles and width, delay, reverb and Enhance, all voiced for its sound. Your key, gain staging and knob moves are kept when you switch.

Every chain sounds best when it is hit at the right level. Auto Level listens to your raw vocal before anything else, raises quiet takes and trims hot ones, then rides the level gently so your performance keeps its dynamics. It only listens while you sing: pauses, breaths and room noise freeze it, so silence is never pumped up. It’s on in every style and preset, with a live +dB readout.

• Instant first listen: the gain is set within the first second of singing, then refines slowly.
• Gain staging, not compression: the loud and soft moments of your take stay loud and soft.
• Noise-aware: tracks the room’s background level and ignores it.
• Range +24 / −12 dB, target adjustable; the switch lives on the Level panel and the Main page.

The carrier snaps to your key, plays MIDI chords or holds a robot note. Whitened bands keep every word clear, consonants stay crisp, and Sub, Drive and Tube add weight, grit and honk.

Enhance listens to the vocal and polishes it in real time: it balances mud, presence and air toward a finished-vocal target, tames harsh resonances only when they appear, adds harmonic sparkle after the de-esser, fills out the body and evens the performance, then matches the loudness so you hear quality, not volume.

Macros sit on top of every detailed setting, so you can sculpt fast without losing your work. 0 = no effect, and the detailed knobs are never overwritten.
